Tunteeya (Teeya) is a Registered Psychologist who completed her undergraduate training at the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology. She also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology at Bond University and a Masters of Professional Psychology at Macquarie University. She spent several years in the inner-city suburbs of Sydney working for various different organisational settings including Royal Northshore Hospital, Charles Sturt University Study Centre and Sydney Developmental Clinic.
Tunteeya works with clients with a variety of different issues including anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, ADHD and adjustment problems. She works with clients from all ages and backgrounds including children, adolescents and adults. She is passionate about assisting clients discover their unique individuality and welcomes LGBTQIA clients.
Tunteeya uses an evidence-based approach to treatment catered specifically for each client, emphasizing on his or her strengths and environment. She uses treatment approaches from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Tunteeya is a non-judgmental, compassionate person who enjoys writing, reading and running in her spare time.
