Dee is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Bachelor of Psychology degree with Honours and Clinical Psychology PhD at Griffith University, Gold Coast. She is a motivated individual with an outgoing, enthusiastic, fun-loving nature, well suited to working clinically with children, adolescents and families. Dee has worked with infants, children, adolescents, adults and families within public and private settings. Previously, she was also employed within university settings (e.g., James Cook University, Cairns and Bond University, Gold Coast), teaching undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, as well as providing Clinical Supervision to those enrolled in post-graduate professional degrees.
Passionate about making a positive contribution to the well-being of others, Dee prefers to work with children (birth to 12 years), adolescents (13 years to 25 years) and families. She provides psychological assessment and intervention to those experiencing a variety of concerns including, learning disorders/academic challenges, anxiety, mood disorders, family conflict, trauma, behavioural disorders, attachment disorders, developmental delays/disorders, psychosis, deliberate self-injury and suicidal risk. She is an accredited Triple P Provider. Psychological services are individualised to meet the needs of the client and/or the family.
Being an energetic individual, Dee enjoys practicing Brazilian Jui Jitsu and yoga. She loves sock puppets, Blythe dolls and animated movies, as well as reading (professional material as well as science fiction and fantasy!!).
