Julie is a provisionally registered psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology from Bond University on the Gold Coast. She is currently completing a 12 month internship with us under the guidance of director and Clinical Psychologist Michael Grace. Julie has a long history as a yoga and pilates instructor and NDIS mental health disability support worker. Julie has experience working with a range of clients across the lifespan and with various presentations including depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, psychosocial disabilities, beahvioural and mood disorders as well as trauma backgrounds.
Julie can provide services to current NDIS participants and assist with accessing NDIS funding by undertaking comprehensive cognitive and behavioural assessments for adults and children. Julie is an empathetic and perceptive practitioner who creates a welcoming and safe space to build trusting and collaborative relationships with her clients. She is passionate about taking a mind-body approach to therapy to help clients manage stress, promote relaxation, and feel more confident to function in daily life.
Julie is available to private and NDIS clients at a reduced rate. While she cannot currently offer services under Medicare some clients suffering financial hardship may be eligible for support with no out of pocket costs under the North Coast Primary Health Network Healthy Minds program.
