About Sabina Grozdanic

Sabina is a Provisional Psychologist registered with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society, completing her final semester of the Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. She also draws on nearly a decade of experience in education, counselling, and therapeutic youth work, which shapes her empathetic, practical, and people-centred approach.

Sabina works alongside young people and their families using evidence-based practices, with an approach that is both attachment-focused and strengths-based. She believes therapy works best when it is a collaborative process and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She is committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment where young people and families can explore their challenges together.  Sabina focuses on supporting young people to build on their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop skills that are meaningful for them. Her warm and down-to-earth style encourages open communication and fosters an inclusive environment that welcomes each child’s and family’s unique identity and cultural background.

She supports young people and families with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, learning difficulties, challenges with emotion regulation, neurodiversity, identity and self-esteem struggles, communication difficulties, and relationship stress.

Sabina also provides cognitive and psychological assessments to help families gain a clearer understanding of a young person’s learning needs and cognitive and psychological profile.

Outside of work, Sabina enjoys nature, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends. Originally from Europe, she speaks English, German, and Bosnian. She hopes to one day train a therapy dog to join her practice, combining her love of animals with her passion for helping young people thrive.
