Michael is a Provisional Psychologist and a current candidate in the Master of Clinical Psychology program at Griffith University.
Michael works alongside clients, empowering them to foster self-determination and resilience. He celebrates the diversity of each individual, creating a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment that honors neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, and culturally diverse perspectives. His work is guided by the belief that every person has the potential to overcome barriers and live a fulfilling, authentic life.
Michael draws on evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, schema therapy, and Rogerian therapy. He works with individuals across the lifespan, tailoring his interventions to meet clients where they are in their journey. He also provides comprehensive assessments for specific learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD, helping individuals gain an understanding of their personal strengths.
Michael has experience working in various mental health and disability settings, including private practice, public health, community, and research. In his spare time, Michael enjoys volunteering, painting, photography, playing video games, and staying active through gym and hiking. He is happiest when spending time with his friends and younger siblings.
